Production Planner
This successful and continually expanding food manufacturer is looking to appoint an ambitious Production Planner with a background in food manufacturing as a Production Planner, Production Manager, Shift Manager or similar. The role will involve developing and managing the planning process for a range of SKUs, developing a production forecast system to match current and future trends and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained within the factory. You will be in constant liaisons with the majority of the site senior management team so strong interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to adapt to change, a ‘Can Do’ approach and the ability to manage changes in orders and possibly staff distribution resulting from new sales and seasonal variances. In addition to this good IT skills are required and ideally experience of SAP or another MRP system. This company is in a phase of expansion that could continue for years. As such, this role will continue to offer new opportunities and challenges well in to the future. Based in the North West of England this role can be commuted to from many parts of Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside parts of Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
