Food Technologist
This leader in its particular food sector with a strong and well respected brand have a network of stores nationwide and a history of successfully innovation. It has a substantial market share with clear commercial focus ahead.
They are looking for a Food Technologist to work in a mobile capacity. The role offers plenty of autonomy, with a brief that encompassed product development, product quality, technical and supplier management, as well as customer support issues. Enjoying a broad range of responsibilities and managing a number of projects on a simultaneous basis, you will be involved in regular supplier liaison and partake in product development and production trials. You will also be responsible for ensuring products achieve a 100% rating in respect of quality safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.
As an ambassador for the business you must have a solid knowledge of current food technology and manufacturing developments, should be familiar with the NPD process, supplier reviews, BRC standards and relevant legislation. We require 2-4 years relevant experience in food manufacturing or retail, and have a background ideally encompassing a split of approximately 30% NPD or and 70% Technical.
This role will be based from the North West of England but involve extensive UK travel.
