MICROBIOLOGIST
This company provides a full range of microbiological and chemical tests for companies within the food industry.
We are currently looking to employ a Microbiologist to join the Food Laboratory in Newton Abbot.
Your duties will include;
Analytical procedures on food and water samples, unsupervised.
Updating and maintaining work records, filing and sample storage.
Assist the Supervisor with training of new staff.
You must;
Adhere to work schedules provided by supervisor and project co-ordinators.
Report faults or abnormalities in equipment and data.
Conform to the Quality and Health & Safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous laboratory experience is essential.
A degree level qualification in science would also be preferred. An enthusiastic approach is required as is an eye for detail. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and without supervision.
This position is working Tuesday to Friday 12pm – 8pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm.
