Commercial Broker
This is an exciting are rare opportunity for a Commercial Broker to join one of the largest Insurance Brokers and Financial Services in the North East.
You must have, or be working towards, a recognised Insurance qualification, with at least 2 years general commercial and/or personal insurance experience.
Your daily duties will include;
Dealing with the insurance requirements of clients attached to the Corporate Broking Team. Initially handling commercial motor, package and agricultural policies with a view to potential involvement in larger, more complex cases in the future.
· Dealing with clients in the office, by telephone or by correspondence
· Dealing with insurers and other providers by telephone, correspondence or in person
· Discussing and advising clients in relation to all aspects of their general insurance requirements and negotiating with insurers on their behalf
· To work as a team with Account Execs to ensure service levels are met and maintained
· New Business Quotations
· Mid Terms Adjustments
· Renewals
Working Hours: 09.00 – 5.00 Monday –Friday (1 hour for lunch)
Plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis
