Laboratory Manager - South Lincolnshire

This specialist contract laboratory require a Laboratory Manager to manage a team of staff performing microbial analysis. 

Duties of the role include:-

 

  • Ensure LabCred Accreditation maintained
  • Overall management of the lab
  • Budget control of internal and external testing
  • Management and approval of external lab services including shelf life
  • Management and monitoring of NPD product shelf life’s testing and results reporting
  • Management of Chemistry testing  and results
  • Involvement with customer site Hygiene audits
  • Working with other department managers
  • Working on the HACCP team

 

Applicants must have experience and qualifications including:-

 

  • 2+ years laboratory supervisory experience
  • Minimum HNC/HND Microbiology or similar
  • Nutritional Chemistry experience would be advantageous
  • Practical HACCP experience would be advantageous
  • Internal audits would be advantageous
  • Process Control experience in food industry preferred
  • Food Industry background preferred

This role is based in South Lincolnshire.
