Laboratory Manager - South Lincolnshire
This specialist contract laboratory require a Laboratory Manager to manage a team of staff performing microbial analysis.
Duties of the role include:-
- Ensure LabCred Accreditation maintained
- Overall management of the lab
- Budget control of internal and external testing
- Management and approval of external lab services including shelf life
- Management and monitoring of NPD product shelf life’s testing and results reporting
- Management of Chemistry testing and results
- Involvement with customer site Hygiene audits
- Working with other department managers
- Working on the HACCP team
Applicants must have experience and qualifications including:-
- 2+ years laboratory supervisory experience
- Minimum HNC/HND Microbiology or similar
- Nutritional Chemistry experience would be advantageous
- Practical HACCP experience would be advantageous
- Internal audits would be advantageous
- Process Control experience in food industry preferred
- Food Industry background preferred
This role is based in South Lincolnshire.
