Qualified Maths Teacher
Our Client is an on-line learning academy providing interactive learning programmes to students in the UK who are unable to access mainstream education. It has proved very popular with young people out of school and has shown amazing results for pupils with low academic expectations. The types of pupils they teach online are medically ill, disabled, disaffected, excluded, and gifted & talented.
They require teachers with the ability to deliver engaging lessons, over the internet, to students of various ages and backgrounds.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths teacher able to lead teaching across a full range of age and abilities and assist in securing high standards and improving academic attainments.
Requirements:
* Successful teachers will be confident to teach Maths in Key Skills and up to KS4 level, preferably also A-Level
* A strong background in teaching the subject is required and good references to support the experience
* Candidates should have the ability to plan engaging lessons electronically (appropriate for your target audience) and develop materials
* The successful candidate must be empathetic towards the wide range of pupils on roll, many who are unfortunate. The students on role are those who are unable to access mainstream education so any understanding of young people with special needs is useful.
Teachers will be working from our Clients office in Harrow. Teaching online in a virtual classroom requires confidence in IT (however, full training will be given). You should be clear and well spoken.
Although our Client is preferably seeking to recruit a recently qualified or experienced teacher they will also consider Candidates who have taught before but are unqualified, or a graduate with a Maths background seeking to train.

An immediate start is available. Salary will be in line with National Teacher Main Pay Scales.
